60 Second Style: Ryan Reynolds

I’ve always thought of Mr. Reynolds as the cool everyman that guys would not have a problem knocking back a couple with. Minus the divorce from the sexy ScarJo, he seems to still have remained an even-keeled kind of individual.

He’s photographed here on a leisurely stroll in the West Village in NYC. Shirt, $79, Patagonia

This shirt has elements of a stock-it-in-different-styles-and-colors kind of clothing: Organic cotton, lightweight, and breathable. It transitions well to the colder seasons, even.

Chinos, $75, J. Crew

This slim-fitting pair of chinos goes great with most of the items in your closet. Wear it in place of inky denim when you’re headed somewhere that says “business casual” in the dress code.

Bracelet, $130 each, Miansai

Accessorize. Why not?

Sunglasses, $185, Shwood

A great alternative to plastic sunglasses, Shwood’s universally flattering offerings use sustainably sourced wood as frames.

Sneakers, $70, Jack Purcell/Converse

A confession—I do not like all-white sneakers because it’s a huge pain in the ass to keep clean. Perhaps this leather one would change this perception?

60 Second Style: Matt Lanter

Matt Lanter attends the premiere of Breaking Dawn: Part 1.

Doesn’t this outfit feel a little too overly dressed down for a movie premiere? It’s as if he’s having coffee at a nearby Starbucks, and his publicist suddenly burst inside the café, demanding that he make himself ready to walk the red carpet.

Nothing wrong with what he’s wearing per se, but when the rest of the cast have dressed up (to varying degrees, but still I digress), what Mr. Lanter’s wearing makes him stand out—and not in a good way.

Sweater, $130, Fred Perry

Tie, $60, All Saints

Shirt, $125, Theory

I don’t like how the cuffs are folded, and I’m most certainly not a fan of the loosened tie. If you choose to go this route (and have to attend a red carpet premiere), fold the cuffs Italian-style, and fix your tie. Once the movie starts, by all means undo everything.

Sneakers, $70, Converse

Watch, $225, Bulova

Corduroy jeans, $39.50, American Eagle Outfitters

60 Second Style: Nicholas Hoult

He was the adorable—if slightly nosy—kid in the Hugh Grant-starred film About a Boy. His most recent thespic venture is Tom Ford’s directorial debut A Single Man. Currently, he is one of the hopefuls to star in the upcoming X-Men: First Class
Shot during the Wimbledon, Hoult’s outfit is the appropriate middle ground between summer casual (T-shirt, shorts, and flip-flops) and summer dressy (henley, linen blazer, chinos).
