60 Second Style: Ryan Gosling

Mr. Gosling appears on the Jimmy Fallon show with his animal companion George wearing a casual-chic outfit. It doesn’t seem like a lot of though went on to it, admittedly, but Ryan’s such a good-looking guy that he instantly carried the entire thing without sweating.

Blazer, $129.90, Uniqlo
A menswear staple, a fitted blazer is the cornerstone of a guy’s wardrobe. It goes well with jeans or formal trousers (just don’t try and make it look like a suit), and even shorts. When you find a brand whose pieces fit you, stock up!

Pants, $39.90, Uniqlo
This is a modernized take on the fall must-buy: Absence of wales (the ridges in the fabric) and a slimmer fit. Once the temperature starts to go south, swap your linens for these and call it a day.

T-shirt, $32.00, Topman
No big ceremony here. It’s a dark-colored (black, in Mr. Gosling’s case) T-shirt with a huge print.

Shoes, $485, Gucci
If you worry about blisters on your shoes or you stinking up the whole place once you remove your footwear, consider invisible socks. These are about as short as those disposable socks you use while shoe-shopping, only washable.

Bracelet, $12.50, American Eagle Outfitters
This jewelry’s optional, as Mr. Gosling himself isn’t wearing one. But put one on anyway—and pile ’em: They are having a fashion moment.
